Active world missions is a youth led Volunteer firm is based in Kampala, Uganda East Africa, and run by a team of qualified and experienced staff which was founded by Moses Mutongole.

The Organization which established in December 2007 as a volunteer program and, a registered non-governmental and non-profit organization with it's main activities in Uganda that aims to promote sustainable development through development education, public awareness, capacity building and the relief of poverty and the environment of the conditions of life in socially and economically disadvantaged communities.

Active world missions recognizes that these poor communities depend solely on available local natural resources and ecosystems for their survival and that poverty reduction agenda should take into account the growing interrelationship and interdependence between the environment, natural resource and poverty.
